I'm Dr. Md. Aktaruzzaman and this is my personal website. Now I’m a Post Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Georgia, USA. I have completed my Ph.D. degree from Gangneung-Wonju National University, South Korea in Horticulture (Major in Plant Pathology). I also finished my two postdoctoral training at the National Institute of Crop Science and the National Institute of Agricultural Science, South Korea and I also served as a Research Professor position at Gangneung-Wonju National University, South Korea.

 

RESEARCH INTERESTS

I am passionate about doing research and I like challenging research, being a researcher since 2008 provided me with a wide range of research backgrounds. My objectives are always looking for new approaches to conduct research and learning new techniques. I am focusing now on Plant pathogen interactions with crops and environment, Diseases diagnosis, disease management in means of elimination, and prevention of pathogens in a sustainable approach. Also population dynamic study of pathogens, genetic variation studies to map disease spreading and use for forecasting, and managing outbreaks of diseases, and Molecular studies in phytopathology. Biological control of plant pathogenic fungi by Endophytic bacteria & Rhizobacteria.
